That is why this wiki treats the frogwares code as official and does not invent a “The Sinking City 2 Official” vanity next to it. The guild title after accept should be Frogwares — a studio community, not a name we made up to match the sequel title.

One code, two hosts

discord.com/invite/frogwares and discord.gg/frogwares are the same invite. Discord’s join box may rewrite one into the other. Read the code after the rewrite. If it is no longer frogwares, you left the official door. Do not paste a shortened URL (bit.ly, tinyurl, “discord-gift” clones) into Join a Server.

Reddit is not the invite

A “The Sinking City 2 Discord reddit” or “Discord link” thread is a pointer at best. Paste https://discord.com/invite/frogwares from this page or the trailer description, not a screenshot of someone else’s vanity. Release-week threads mix the Released August 18, 2026 store drop with leftover The Sinking City (2019) servers — those are a different game. If a comment says “new invite in bio,” stop; the code is still frogwares.

Desktop app

Open Discord → + on the server list → Join a Server → paste https://discord.com/invite/frogwares → Join Server. If the box rewrites the URL, the path must still end in frogwares. After join: read the first pinned / rules room the sidebar shows. Channel names on this wiki are placeholders, so follow the live labels, not a #name we invented.

Mobile and browser

On a phone, open the same invite in the Discord app or a browser, log in, and accept. A related search for “The Sinking City 2 Discord PS4” is a dead platform: The Sinking City 2 ships on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (plus Epic and GOG on PC), not PS4. Discord still runs on a phone; the game does not. Browser join does not need a second “official” domain.

What Accept is not

Never download a trainer from a DM

The Sinking City 2 is a paid single-player survival horror. This site will not build a cheat, WeMod, or crack page. Anyone in Discord DMs offering those is not Frogwares staff. Do not run the file. Do not paste a Steam Guard code into a “verify ownership” form. If you already clicked a lookalike host, change the Discord password and revoke app access from Discord settings — then rejoin only via https://discord.com/invite/frogwares.

A Steam community comment cannot mint a second official invite. If a news post and this page ever disagree on the code, stop and re-read. The verified string on August 19, 2026 is frogwares.

Follow Category if a room is missing

Browse Channels showed these rooms under Follow Category blocks. If 🐙-the-sinking-city is not in your sidebar, open Browse Channels / Customize and follow Frogwares Games. Do not assume a second official guild because one category is hidden.

No LFG room to invent

The Sinking City 2 is Single-player. Discord is a studio community, not a co-op lobby. Do not ask this page for a raid or summon-sign room. If staff later add voice, that still does not make the game multiplayer.

Once you can tell pins from chatter, the next skill is asking a question a stranger can answer without a ten-paragraph recap.

A question a stranger can answer

Good: “PS5, Arkham Fish Market, Deep Ones from the water — weak point is not lighting up, do I retreat to the Safe Room or swap to Breakwater?” Good: “PC, just reached Miskatonic Annex, pack is full, is the first inventory chest before or after I stash?” Bad: “help” plus an untagged closer clip. Bad: “give me your Steam so I can gift you Deluxe.”

Attach a screenshot of the HUD or the map if you have one. Say whether you already used a Safe Room (soft drops adapt when you are starving). Post in 🐙-the-sinking-city, not 🔍-sherlock-holmes or 💬-jibber-jabber.

Bug reports are a repro, not a vibe

Write the platform, the build if the menu shows one, the district, and the three steps that reproduce it. “Ammo feels broken” is a mood. “Steam, post-8/18, Akeley reception, craft ate the heal stack and the recipe did not produce” is a report. Version and fix status stay TBA on this wiki — see achievements if a cup is dark.

What is safe in a mixed room

Finite pack, Safe Rooms, optional investigations, standalone sequel, and “run is legal” are first-hours facts. They belong next to the beginner guide. Named late story beats, ritual steps, and missable trophy routes need a spoiler tag in 🐙-the-sinking-city. Staff pins in 📢-updates beat this paragraph.

Discord does not play the game for you

Joining does not grant ammo, a Safe Room, or Dream Essence. You still skiff Arkham yourself. Ask after you tried the page. “I aimed the weak point and still panic-fired the Tommy on a single shambler” is a useful Discord line. “Tell me the whole game” is not.

This wiki is unofficial
